Dune Beach Resort
Pet Stay Regulations
- The basic requirement for accepting an animal at the property is that the Guest declares the pet’s arrival when booking and obtains reception’s approval for the pet to stay in the specific apartment. This is necessary due to the limited number of apartments designated for guests with pets.
- Only domestic animals are allowed at the property. Dune Beach Resort may refuse animals generally considered dangerous or aggressive, including reptiles, arachnids and dogs of the following breeds: American Pit Bull Terrier, Majorca Mastiff, American Bulldog, Argentine Mastiff, Canary Mastiff, Tosa, Rottweiler, Akbash Dog, Anatolian Karabash, Moscow Watchdog and Caucasian Shepherd (pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior and Administration of 28 April 2003 on the list of dog breeds considered aggressive).
- If we are not informed that Guests are accompanied by animals, we may refuse permission for the animal to stay in the apartment.
- If a stay with an animal has not been declared, Dune Beach Resort may refuse accommodation and refund of the deposit.
- An animal’s stay requires a health record with current vaccinations and proof of deworming.
- For safety, the animal must have a leash, collar, muzzle or cage, depending on its species.
- The fee for an animal’s stay is PLN 80 per day.
Noise and disturbances
- An animal staying at Dune Beach Resort must not disturb other Guests on the property. Please ensure that your pet does not make noise, especially at night.
- In the event of repeated complaints from other Guests, we reserve the right to remove the animal from the property at its Owner’s expense.
- If the property staff have reasonable grounds to suspect that an animal left in a room is disturbing other Guests, damaging Dune Beach Resort property or may create a threat to itself or other Guests, Dune Beach Resort Management will attempt to contact the Owner to resolve the issue. If contact is impossible, Dune Beach Resort reserves the right to allow staff to enter the Guest’s room, with possible assistance from the relevant services, and remove the animal from the apartment. All costs arising from these actions shall be covered by the animal’s Owner.
Hygiene and cleanliness
- The animal’s Owner is responsible for any soiling caused by the animal in the room, common areas and the grounds surrounding Dune Beach Resort. Please clean up after your pet.
- Dogs must not be allowed on beds or sofas.
- Animals may use designated areas inside and outside Dune Beach Resort.
- Cat Owners must have a litter tray with litter and empty it into a plastic bag, which must then be disposed of in the container indicated by a Dune Beach Resort employee.
- Rooms occupied by animals are cleaned only when the Owner is present. Please contact Reception to arrange cleaning times.
Liability
- The animal’s Owner is liable for all damage and soiling caused by the animal and must cover the cost of any damage.
- All damage to Dune Beach Resort property or other Guests’ property caused by animals will be assessed by Dune Beach Resort Management, and the costs will be charged to the animals’ Owners.
- The animal must remain supervised throughout its stay at Dune Beach Resort.
- Dogs must be walked on a leash under the care of their Owner or an authorised person.
